Functional programming is becoming more important

An interesting discussion of why you should care about Functional Programming (the talk is in English). Neal Ford is interviewed at W-JAX 2013.

around 6:25 he makes an interesting statement. ‘Today’s best practices are tomorrows anti-patterns’. So true.

Today’s best practices are designed to work within today’s constraints. As time progresses, the constraints change, therefore the best practice also can/must change.
